Overview
Hunting Buffalo in the Henry Mountains of southern Utah is truly a surreal experience. This is what big game hunts are made of. Expansive and rugged, the Henry’s are not for the tenderfoot and you’ll need plenty of time to scout as these Bison can be anywhere. This is a lifetime hunt requiring much time and patience to get a tag through the Division of Wildlife Resources. Once drawn, book one of our guides who will show you some impressive landscapes in search of the highly sought after Henry Mountain Bison and Deer. This is one of the last free roaming herds in the United States and also the largest in the country. Our guides will often see multiple herds of 20-40 animals during a hunt. Considered by our guides as one of the most unique hunts in the world, hunting the countless canyons, mountain tops and mesas of the Henry Mountains is something you’ll never forget! This remote mountain requires a lot of planning including but not limited to; 4×4 vehicle, horses, camping, good optics and a keen knowledge of feed and water.
